Welcome! I have enjoyed photography since my teens; coincidentally when I learned how to sail. The two paths crossed one fateful afternoon when I took a perfect photo of my father's sailboat (he still has the poster size enlargement framed in his home). The rush involved in getting the shot, as well as the final printed result confirmed that this was an activity worth pursuing.

Back then, manual focus, 35mm film cameras were the norm. My, how everything has changed! Today's digital technologly delivers amazing capabilities and offers shooting opportunities previously thought impsossible!

Now that I am "grown up" and sailing on my own boat, I have rediscovered the joy of photographing sail. Being close to both Lake Simcoe and Georgian Bay is a dream come true.

In addition to sailing pictures, you will see photos of other things that fascinate me. I hope they will fascinate you, the viewer, as well.
